RBIS Grand Champion Bronze Dimitri is a natural in the show ring. Making his conformation debut in the spring of 2023 under limited showing, he quickly rose to become Canada’s #2 Samoyed of the year in just six short weekends out of seven in the ring. He also finished as the #1 Samoyed in his home province of Alberta. With win after win in Best of Breed, including at Canada's largest dog show, Dimitri also secured multiple group 1st placements and a Reserve Best in Show under seasoned international judges. His efficiency as a show dog has been nothing short of exceptional.
PEDIGREE
Dimitri's parents and grandparents combine top North American and European bloodlines - Polar Mist, Mishka, Vanderbilt, Alnair Shine, Belolakay, Virta Valo - strengthened by a robust track record of Canadian and international titles, including World Dog Show placements. Dimitri’s exceptional quality, beautiful movement, and temperament are a testament to his pedigree. At 59.5 cm and 30.5 kg, his luxurious coat and balanced build are a perfect blend of European and American breeding excellence. Dimitri is from the Snowlegend kennel in Canada, known for its exceptional breeding program and for producing top-quality Samoyeds. In 2024, the Snowlegend kennel further solidified its reputation at the Canadian National Specialty Show, with one of their dogs winning Best of Breed out of 38 entries, Best Canadian Bred, Best Working Dog, and Best Owner Handled. HEALTH
Dimitri’s health is as strong as his pedigree and show presence. Recently tested for hips, elbows, eyes, and cardiac health, as well as DNA and Brucella, he meets and exceeds the recommended testing standards for Samoyeds. Dimitri has passed all tests with flying colors. His physical exam reports are publicly available on the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) and Paw Print Genetics websites, ensuring transparency and confidence in his overall well-being.
